1v1 League: Week 6 Recap

At the end of 6 weeks, there are 5 players tied for first place.  Dr. White continued his ascent to the top by winning one out two games against Jarbasaur.  After a shaky start, Dr. White has won 7 of this last 8 games and is now tied for first place.  Jarbasaur is still tied for first place despite winning only 2 of his last 6 games.

Calumbo won 1 out of 2 games against Matza and now has 5 wins.  With 2 games in hand, Calumbo still has an outside shot at finishing in second place.  Matza is tied for first, with a record of 8-4.  He has lost all 4 games by a score of 5-4.

God won his first game by defeating Enrico Pallazzo.  If he hadn’t missed some very good scoring chances, he could have easily won both games.  Enrico Pallazzo remains tied for first place going into the last week of the season.

Olympian continued his torrid pace by winning both games against Mortikat.  He has now won 7 out of his last 8 games and he’s now tied for first place.  Despite not winning a game this season, Mortikat has played well and lost closes matches to Calumbo & Dr. White.

There are several big matches in the final week.  Enrico Pallazzo plays against Dr. White, Olympian takes on Matza, Jarbasaur goes up against Calumbo & God will play against Moritkat.  The likelihood of a playoff for first or second place is high as there are so many players vying for the cup.
